Your Text Stays With You

The character counter on this site runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. The text you type or paste is never transmitted to, processed by or stored on our servers. For your convenience, the tool keeps a copy of your current text in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload; this data lives only on your device and you can remove it at any time with the "Clear" button or by clearing your browser data.

What We Collect

When you visit the site, our web server records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and error diagnosis. These logs are automatically deleted after a short period and are not used to build profiles. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, and we use them solely to answer you.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary item of local storage to remember your cookie choice itself. Optional analytics cookies, which help us understand which pages are useful, are only set after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics run. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.

Third Parties

Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers; Google may log this request as described in its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent or share any personal data with third parties.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and KVKK), you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you – which, in practice, is at most your contact-form correspondence. Email us and we will handle your request promptly.
