CharCountOnline provides a free, browser-based text analysis tool (character, word, sentence and related counts, plus text transformations). No registration is required and no fee is charged.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every count correct and test the tool against many edge cases. Nevertheless, counting conventions differ between platforms, and the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Always verify critical limits against the target platform's own validator.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the site in a way that disrupts its operation, attempts to breach its security, or violates applicable law. Automated scraping that degrades service for others is not permitted.

Intellectual Property

The design, code and content of this website belong to CharCountOnline. The text you analyze remains entirely yours; we claim no rights over it and, by design, never receive it.
